In July 2018 there will be a very special Musical Rendezvous! Augusto Pedro is the 25 year old son of Augusto Enriquez and he has been studying classical guitar in Spain for the past 6 years. He has been a featured soloist with the Madrid Symphony Orchestra.
Alison Enriquez is Augusto's 17 year old daughter and she has been studying high school in Halifax for the past 2 years. She is currently the principal 2nd violin with both the Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra and the Dalhousie Symphony Orchestra.
These three born performers have not been together in over 4 years. They will rendezvous here in Nova Scotia this summer. During the month of July they will be joined by Jeff Goodspeed for form what we call the Rendezvous Quartet. Cuban music, Classical music, Brazilian music and of course just a little bit of Latin Jazz. 
The Rendezvous Quartet will be performing in small venues and presenting house concerts during July to help Augusto Pedro and Alison Enriquez pay for their schooling abroad. Then in August they will be joined by their brother Alejandro from New York and we will begin raising money for Los Primos 2019.
The Enriquez family plus the Jeff Goodspeed Quartet will come together to form Los Primos 2018 for 3 weeks of performances. Next summer (2019) we area planning on bringing another group of student musicians from Cuba. Proceeds from all concerts this summer will support...
...LOS PRIMOS 2019. It is time to bring another group of students from Cuba to tour Nova Scotia next summer. Come on out and be a part of this 20 year old cultural exchange that has create many bridges between our province and Cuba.
