In 2019 Los Primos Project formed this big band with strings featuring vocals from Alison Enriquez and Josh Robinson. Some of the finest young musicians in Nova Scotia come together to play all styles of music from classic big band swing to contemporary jazz and latin dance music. Under the direction of Paul Barrett, Augusto Enriquez and Jeff Goodspeed NSyJo is creating opportunities for our youth to take part in a band that also includes young professionals as mentors and clinics with seasoned jazz artist from eastern Canada.

You will be able to see it on the Los Primos facebook and instagram pages shortly after the draw and a complete video of the event and profile of the Funk Unit will be posted here.
