22 musicians from Halifax will join Augusto Enriquez to present a show for the members of the House of Commons and the Senate on October 3rd. This event sponsored by the Cuban Embassy in Ottawa will feature the show Sinatra meets Moré which the band presented in Havana at the Karl Marx Theatre in October 2015.
Two cultures in the same era.
Frank Sinatra was perhaps the biggest influence on music in North America during the 40"s, 50"s & 60's while at the same time Benny Moré was a similar icon for Latin America. Here are a few songs from the show presented in Havana.
