Nova Scotia Youth Jazz Orchestra
In 2019 Los Primos Project formed this big band with strings featuring vocals from Alison Enriquez and Josh Robinson. Some of the finest young musicians in Nova Scotia come together to play all styles of music from classic big band swing to contemporary jazz and latin dance music. Under the direction of Paul Barrett, Augusto Enriquez and Jeff Goodspeed NSyJo is creating opportunities for our youth to take part in a band that also includes young professionals as mentors and clinics with seasoned jazz artist from eastern Canada.
The Los Primos Society would like to announce our Annual General Meeting to be held on Nov 10th from 7:00pm to 8:00pm at
the Cottage Café - 300 Prince Albert Road in Dartmouth

This month’s on-line 50/50 Raffle at Rafflebox.ca will be in support of our efforts to get instruments to Cuba for donation to music schools and cultural centres.
This month Los Primos has partnered with Honour Jazz for our Rafflebox recipient. The Nova Scotia Honour Jazz program was started in the fall of 1995 by Dave Staples, Jeff Goodspeed, and Paul Barrett.
This month Los Primos is super excited and proud to partner with the Truro District Schools Band Auxilary with our Rafflebox 50/50 draw that will happen on April 3, 2021.
This month the Rafflebox 50/50 raffle will partner with the Nova Scotia Honour Jazz “Funk Unit”. 
NSHJ FUNK UNIT is a new and exciting extension program of Nova Scotia Honour Jazz committed to enriching young musicians in Jazz-Rock, Fusion, Soul, Funk, and R&B Music.
On January 3rd Los Primos made a draw for the winner of our first on-line 50/50 raffle. On the 3rd day of each month we will select the winner at the Cottage Café in Dartmouth, at 7:00pm. This month our raffle partner was the Nova Scotia Youth Jazz Orchestra, and Los Primos will split its share of the raffle proceeds 50/50 with NSyJo. Los Primos Raffle 01_21
